Scanner (Live)

Six hundred coins, one screen. The Scanner pulls only what’s worth your attention right now. Gold ✦ tiles are the live alpha-fires; gold/silver B:% / A:% badges show where the book is positioned.

What it answers

  • “What’s actually moving on the market today, that I should look at first?”
  • “Out of 600 pairs, which ones have alpha-level flow firing right now?”
  • “Is the book lining up with where the unusual flow happened?”
  • “Which side is the book leaning on this coin, buy or sell?”
  • “Where do I start when I have 5 minutes and no chart picked yet?”

Mental model

The Scanner is the answer to “what’s worth looking at right now?” Six hundred USDT pairs collapse into one screen of tiles. The ones with the loudest σ today float to the top. The ones that crossed their own alpha get a gold ✦. That is the shortlist. Tiles also carry a small badge showing which way the book is leaning right now: B:64% (bid-stacked, gold-coloured) or A:67% (ask-stacked, silver-coloured).

On non-hot tiles the badge is paired with a soft edge glow in the same gold or silver. On hot ✦ tiles the alert’s own gold halo dominates the visual, so you read the badge for direction.

A gold-ticked tile with a B:64% badge is a coin where unusual flow fired today and the book is currently bid-stacked. Two independent FlowEntry signals agreeing on one tile.

How to use it

  • Open the app, read the pageNo clicks needed. Tiles with ✦ are alpha-fired today; the rest are warm or quiet. The number of ✦ tiles is your at-a-glance read of how loud the day is.
  • Scan for ✦ + book-direction setupsA ✦ tile with a B:NN% badge means unusual flow fired and the book is bid-stacked. ✦ + A:NN% means flow fired and the book is ask-stacked. These are the cleanest single-tile setups the app produces. On hot tiles read the badge, not the glow.
  • Triage by σ magnitudeBackground tint is darker on tiles with bigger σ. Two ✦ tiles aren’t equal. The one with the brighter tile background has the louder signal. Click that one first.
  • Read the book-mismatch tilesA ✦ tile with an A:NN% badge (sigma fired but the book is currently ask-stacked) is a more nuanced setup. Could be sellers absorbing buying pressure, or buyers being trapped. Cross-reference with Sigma + Buy/Sell + Cash Volume on the chart.
  • Pair with Pulse for contextPulse purple means many ✦ tiles expected on the Scanner. Pulse cold means few ✦ tiles, and the ones that do show up are unusual against a quiet market. Those outliers are often the most interesting.
  • Use it as the start of every sessionThe Scanner is the front door. Most of the workflow in FlowEntry is Scanner → click into chart → read indicators → form view. Train the muscle of starting here.

What it doesn’t do, and when not to use it

The Scanner does not show direction of the σ itself; the σ count and hot state are direction-agnostic. It does not show all 600 coins (capped at 38, sorted hot-first). It does not show BTC pairs by default, and it does not include stablecoins.

Don’t use a hot tile as a final entry signal. The decision should always involve the chart. Sigma history, Buy/Sell direction, Cash Volume size, and the regime context from Pulse and the momentum reads. For coins outside the top 38, use the search bar or the All Pairs tab. For looking back at past days, switch to the historical pills.

Why it works

Most market scanners sort by price change or volume. Proxies for activity that anyone can see and that get gamed accordingly. The FlowEntry Scanner sorts by unusual one-sided flow events that crossed each coin’s own alpha. A signal that is rare, calibrated per coin, and not visible to anyone without FlowEntry’s detection. Layering the live book ratio on top of that signal gives you a second, independent read on the same tile.

Examples

Case A: alpha + book agreement on the front page

Setup.
Open the app on a quiet morning. Pulse is mid-tier.
Signal.
One tile carries gold ✦ and a B:64% badge.
Outcome.
Click in. Sigma chart confirms a fresh gold day, Book Depth shows bid-stacked under price.
Lesson.
✦ + bid-side book on the same tile is two independent signals agreeing. Always click these first.

Case B: hot Pulse day → wall of ✦

Setup.
Pulse purple yesterday. Open the Scanner.
Signal.
15+ tiles showing ✦, with a mix of B:% and A:% badges.
Outcome.
Triage by σ magnitude (background brightness) and badge direction. Pick 3 to 5, drop into charts, read each.
Lesson.
A loud regime produces a loud Scanner. Use σ magnitude and badge to filter, don’t open everything.

Case C: contrarian tile on a cold day

Setup.
Pulse slate, only 1 to 2 tiles showing ✦.
Signal.
Single bright-gold tile with σ 25+, no book badge (book is symmetric).
Outcome.
Coin is unusually loud against a quiet market.
Lesson.
One ✦ in a cold market is more meaningful than 20 ✦ in a hot one. Independent moves often precede a regime change.

Case D: ✦ + opposing book direction

Setup.
Tile with gold ✦ but an A:62% badge.
Signal.
Sigma fired today but the book is currently ask-stacked.
Outcome.
Cross-reference with Buy/Sell on the chart. If σ was buying-dominant but the book is ask-stacked now, expect chop or distribution. Otherwise the move has follow-through.
Lesson.
Mismatched badge is a “look closer” tile, not a clear setup.
